I’ve found it. The best gluten free breakfast in Milton Keynes. In fact, I’m almost disappointed that I didn’t find it sooner! As you can already tell, The Anchor at Aspley Guise seriously impressed me. Not only do they have an extensive gluten free menu, but they also have great taste in decor and they’re dog friendly – perfect for our post-walk breakfast on a Saturday morning (we luckily managed to dodge the torrential rain that lasted for the entire afternoon). Have you ever seen gluten free eggs benedict on a menu? I hadn’t (until now). Eggs benedict is my…

This weekend Luke and I celebrated our anniversary with a seriously fancy dinner date, at The Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield. I have to admit I was expecting a lot, because let’s face it it is not a cheap restaurant, but my expectations were met and exceeded. Our meal was amazing. (The lighting, however, was not so great. So, excuse the photo quality!) Of course we started with the drinks.   I drink a lot of coffee. And I spend a lot of time in Costa. So, when the opportunity came up to join in on one of their masterclasses (and donate to their charity, the Costa Foundation, at the same time), I couldn’t resist. This week, Tuesday night was date night. Ever since I was told I can no longer eat gluten (nope, still not over it), I’ve been craving burgers. I never even used to like them that much! I feel like usually people say ‘you always want what you can’t have’ about love and romance. Not for me. I can eat so much from there, which is pretty much unheard of for a gluten intolerant in a burger bar! The…

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m a little dog mad. Our mix-breed Jinx is my little baby (even though she’s huge and nearly ten now) and so I was mega excited when the lovely guys over at tails.com offered her a months worth of personalised dog food to try out. They’re also offering you guys 2 weeks free dog food with just £1 delivery too, but I’ll get to that later. Jinx has never been a fussy eater, but she is pretty sensitive. She’s reacted badly to some foods in the past so being able to…
