It finally happened. Someone finally figured out the route of all my IBS issues. I can’t say that 21 years of pain and discomfort was worth it, but at least we’re getting somewhere, right? So, I can no longer eat gluten (or tapioca, or oats – yay). I am gluten intolerant, apparently. This means finding alternatives for the vast majority of my favourite foods, and it also meant a very grumpy, hangry Haze for the last few days of this week, before I had a chance to go food shopping. I’m really going to miss ‘normal’ pasta, cakes, cookies, cereal,…

If you like Chinese food, live in or around Milton Keynes, and haven’t yet tried Mii & U, you’re missing out. The small, not-too-special-looking, canteen-style restaurant offers some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted, at some seriously cheap prices. My friend and I, along with our boyfriends, double dated there on Saturday night, so I thought I’d write up a little review for you all – enjoy! I have not been at all consistent over on this blog and for that I apologise. I don’t even have a real excuse; I was busy with exams, but they ended a while a go, then I flitted between home and Birmingham for a while with no real purpose, and now I’m back at work. Happy hump day, I’m going to walk you through some of my goals for this summer, let’s get on…

Last Saturday I was lucky enough to be invited, along with my Grandma, to spend the day in total foodie, crafty heaven at Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Fair. The event was held in the beautiful grounds of Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, right by the river, which made for a truly picturesque setting bettered only by the bright sunshine that finally came out as we were eating lunch! Now if you’ve ever read my blog before, you’ll know that I am very into my food and I was not at all disappointed by the options available at The Handmade Fair. So, I’m…

As I mentioned in my previous, 21st Birthday Weekend post, Luke took me to Bath for my birthday. While we were there, we found what I have to say is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time; it was the perfect way to end a wonderful weekend and I’m going to tell you all about it! The Clifton Sausage is at the top of what I think of as the centre of Bath. It’s in easy walking distance from any of the main attractions (The Roman Baths, Parade Gardens etc.), but far enough away that…
