A good few hours late this afternoon was spent napping, as I moved out of my flat in Birmingham yesterday and into our new house, ready for the start of my second year at university. However, until about 3pm, Luke, my parents and I were having a lovely time at the Shenley Church End Parish Council Fete. There were over 40 stalls, both inside Medbourne pavillion and out on the field, offering everything from jewellery, soaps, greeting cards and (my favourite) FOOD! As promised in my What am I Looking Forward to? blog post a little while ago, today I am writing about ValeFest, a small student-run festival at The Vale of the University of Birmingham (I went a bit picture-crazy as I was using my camera rather than my phone!). A little while ago, my boyfriend and I enjoyed a really wonderful Valentines Day meal at The Navigation Inn in Cosgrove. The service and atmosphere were excellent, every woman in the restaurant was gifted with a red rose from their waiter which really made me smile and the staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.  A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I spent two nights in the beautiful town of Colchester. We stayed in the Red Lion Hotel on the high street (the oldest hotel in the UK) and had a really wonderful time.
