I feel as though I have had a very cultured weekend. Luke and I stayed in London for a night in the Spanish-themend Church Street Hotel and visited an art gallery and two museums. Hello, I hope everyone had a great weekend! For me, this weekend has been great.  On Friday and Saturday night my friends and I went to see my favourite band at a small, intimate gig at Bedford Esquires.  It was very hot and sweaty but so much fun and I cannot wait for them to tour again. Yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday, Luke and I took a trip to visit his family in Potters Bar near London and went with them to an alternative race day. Neither of us had any idea what to expect, but we knew that there would be camel racing! Despite the wind, it was a really lovely day out; we took a picnic (although there were multiple hot food stands and a licensed bar as well), watched the racing and enjoyed the  funfair rides (I was also very excited by the amount of dogs brought along by other visitors).
