Hello you lovely lot, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I will apologise in advance if this post is a little boring,  as this has definitely been the laziest weekend that I have had in a long time. On Friday night Luke’s band (I will link their Facebook page here if you’re interested) played a sort of ‘comeback gig’ at Bedford Esquires, which was great fun but also meant that Saturday was a complete write-off. This weekend was food and family orientated. On Saturday Luke and I treated ourselves to a lovely breakfast date, then an equally lovely homemade Mexican dinner (chilli and nachos, my favourite!). As promised in my What am I Looking Forward to? blog post a little while ago, today I am writing about ValeFest, a small student-run festival at The Vale of the University of Birmingham (I went a bit picture-crazy as I was using my camera rather than my phone!). The festival was on Saturday (June 4th) and we were so lucky with the weather, it was one of the warmest days of the year so far!
